The way that Old Navigator's GPS works is one of the car's strong personalized features. The car "prefers" to respond to preset Driver 1,2 or 3's ... (combination 1 + 2) by shifting in a manner commensurate with your style, by using headlights when the car feels it is appropriate, applying traction when where and how it sees fit, and by letting you know when it will be time to "Exit ... in half a mile."

Sitting in the driveway at the in law's house a few months ago, I set Betsy to enter that then current location in the address book.

A few weeks later, when called upon to make a pick up / drop off, I was given a scrambled address, yet followed Betsy's advice, and was soon hearing, "You have arrived ..." and although nothing looked familiar, indeed, the driveway was the same..

"Betsy."

THE REVIEW:

From Wheeling West Virginia to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, with the Navigator GPS, we explored three alternative routes, and got lost in Pittsburgh at least partly because this new friend we call "Betsy," could not discern one way streets.

Herein find illustrated adventures when our Navigator took us...

East on Interstate 70 then North on 79 to Pittsburgh.

And became Lost in Pittsburgh.

Then home as the crow flies, or through the woods and country.

Laterback to Wheeling by way of Steubanville, then down 7, by way of the beautiful Ohio River.
