Jimmy Cagney's "City for Conquest." This one to me, is better than "Blade Runner." I like to take it symbolically. For example, the music is dated hokey for me in the flick, but the quality and integrity issue is symbolic and transcendental. Cagney shows New Yorker Qualities which define The City, and to me, The Goal in behavior and achievement. The Spirit of the City of New York leads anyone who follows Her to Ultimate Conquest. "I know," says The Tramp, (your one man chorus ... your City Angel) "because I have clothes on my back."
